Thaddeus is an internationally accomplished speaker, educator, and professional with published works. He has presented and spoken at several international conferences, including ACPA (College Student Educators International) and NASPA (Student Affairs Administrators in Higher Education) as well as led complex teams and committees of students and professionals in 3 different countries and on 2 different continents. A strong advocate for hard work, a visionary, the Thaddeus method is one of strategic thinking and servant leadership.
A native of Sharpsburg, Georgia, Thaddeus was raised by two loving parents who cared deeply about his education and personal development. They are responsible for the way in which he has internalized the world and made sense of his calling and purpose. Thaddeus majored in Music Education at Florida A&M University (FAMU). His undergraduate experience challenged him in more ways than expected. He often found himself at crossroads during his scholastic career. In his senior year, Thaddeus had an epiphany that music education was not his calling. Seeking a new revelation, his mentor advised him “The things that exacerbate you most are the things you are called to change.”
Naturally, Thaddeus understood he was called to improve the lives of others through education, entrepreneurship, mentorship, and visionary capacity building. This new understanding motivated Thaddeus to pursue a Master of Arts degree in Student Affairs Administration and a graduate certificate in Urban Education from Michigan State University (MSU). A Music Educator and Student Affairs Professional by training, Thaddeus is expressly committed to changing the lives of others through education, entertainment, and cultural healing, liberation, and empowerment. Serving as a voice actor and creative, he provides a thoughtful space and platform to ensure the message presented is nuanced by the social situation of his listeners. His professional and research interests include international education, social justice, intercultural competency, leadership, masculinity, and the Black family.
In his spare time, Thaddeus enjoys reading, lifting in the iron paradise (gym), playing intramural basketball and softball, and loving on his beautifully intelligent wife, Cherrish.
